Central Access develops EDSAR
|
Until now, districts have found three major problems with implementation of an
electronic document storage system - the cost of the equipment and software, the
time and labor costs of scanning and indexing the documents, and the loss of important
documents due to a natural disaster at the Central Office. EDSAR solves these three major
problems. With EDSAR, there is no equipment or software to purchase - just a small user
fee each year. EDSAR offers the option of having our staff come to your district to scan
and index your documents for you. EDSAR houses your electronically scanned documents at a
secure, safe, offsite location. This allows the electronic documents to be in a different
location from the hard copy documents. Also with the simple use of a web browser and
internet connection, EDSAR allows you to access your documents at any time, either viewing
them on-line or printing them as you need.

Remote Data Service (RDS)
|
RDS is your answer to offsite data storage and disaster recovery. Thanks impart to new technologies that take advantage of file compression and WAN communication abilities, Central Access is able to offer our customers an affordable solution that gets their data to an offsite location quickly and securely.
The process is simple. The data contents of specified folder(s) on a customer computer(s) is back up every evening at a predetermined time, compressed, then securely FTP'd to the Central Access Data Repository. Once the data has been successfully received, an email is sent to the customer with the details of the transfer. From that point our customers have the peace-of-mind knowing there data is safe in the event of hardware failures or natural disasters.
